My Angel Food Cake Pan is Leaking!

If your angel food cake pan is leaking, you probably have a spring form pan with a removable bottom. True tube pans used for angel food cake are made of one piece with no bottom.

To prevent this from happening again, be sure your pan is securely put together, the bottom is tight and fit into the groove of the bottom of the ring. Just to be safe, use a double layer of aluminum foil wrapped around the outside of your pan. Consider buying a tube pan so you won’t have this problem in the future!
